Winter clothing on, good winter shoes, and off you go on a proper toboggan run in Salzburger Land. Sledging and tobogganing is pure family fun – and the best thing? There are 3 natural toboggan runs in the Gastein Valley, which also offer the necessary safety thanks to the best preparation and maintenance! Experience a fantastic tobogganing trip during an afternoon together or a night-time descent.

You can hire toboggans and sledges, as well as snow-bikes, directly from the huts. Depending on availability, you can rent the necessary equipment for your tobogganing holiday directly from us at the hotel for a fee. And off you go to the slopes!

Natural toboggan run Bellevue Alm in Bad Gastein

Length: 2.5 km, floodlit
Start: Bellevue Alm at an altitude of 1260 m
Opening times: daily from 10.30 am to 4 pm & from 5.30 pm to 11.30 pm
Summer break: 07.02.2024 – 10.12.2024
ATTENTION: At times during the winter season. Depending on the weather! Bobs and racing sledges are not permitted!

Natural toboggan run Aeroplanin in Bad Hofgastein

Length: 3.3 km
Opening times: daily from 9 am to 3.30 pm, night tobogganing on Tuesday and Friday
Summer break: 16.02.2023 – 20.12.2023
Start: Aeroplanstadl Finish: Haitzing (Reiterhof).
Ascent with the Schlossalmbahn to the middle station, followed by an approx. 15 minute walk in good conditions during the operating hours of the Schlossalmbahn. On Tuesdays and Fridays from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm (last ascent) – the toboggan run is floodlit until 10.30 pm.
ATTENTION: The opening of the toboggan run depends on snow conditions!

Natural Toboggan Run Strohlehnenalm - Dorferberg

Length: 3 km
Opening Hours: Daily; night sledding from Wednesday to Sunday, illuminated until 10:00 PM
Summer Break: Mid-March to the end of December
Start: Strohlehnenalm
End: Village center
